From our family farm here in the heart of Devon we farm a mixture of breeds we are very passionate about our flock of ‘The Devon Closewool sheep’ this is a handsome and hardy breed of sheep with a beautiful white fleece, These breed of sheep are currently on the Rare Breeds Trust ‘at risk’ list and this traditional, heritage breed that was once widespread across North Devon has sadly declined in recent decades, so buying one of our fleeced is helping save the breed. The will come to you raw unwashed , we advise after delivery to remove the fleece from the packaging so it can naturally breath.
